Loved the bomb roll and Memphis roll. Menu offers either sushi or the full hibachi experience where they cook in front of you, which gets pricey, just a heads up! Sushi is great prices though and they have lunch specials. Great service too

I mean come on, By far and without a doubt, THE BEST SUSHI IN TOWN!! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and the staff and owners make you feel like family!!

A great place for family and close friends. I agree that the portion in the hibachi is not evenly serve. Honestly, I don’t mind much because I had an amazing time there with my friends. Hibachi performance was awesome and the food seasoned just right. On top of that, the ice cream is a perfect dessert to end the perfect meal!

A-TAN is a great hibachi spot. Lots of open seating for gathering with friends and meeting new ones. I would like to see a bit more enthusiasm from the chefs. After all we didn't just come for the food, we came to be entertained.

I had to relocate to Florida for school. Been coming to A-Tan since 2001 at least. Everyone at A-Tan’s is family, always smiles, the best food and drink. Very much missed -Tod

Me and my husband loves coming here.. he actually brought me here for our first date...lol... We got a flaming volcano ... thus drink is made for two, and it has enough rum for the both of you... trust me... have the bartender Brandon to make it for you.. it's great...

Great food and the atmosphere is inviting. It was also less expensive than a McD Big Mac meal for a lunch special. I'm sure it's more healthy too.

Fun hibachi restaurant- love the cooking fun !!! Food was very tasty and staff was very attentive . Certainly different than most restaurants.

A hidden gem. I didn't even know it was there. Japanese and Chinese under one roof. We had three Sushi rolls and vegetable fried rice. They should have yum yum sauce. But everything was delicious. Can't wait to try the hibachi grill on my next visit.

Pretty good chinese food, nice service, but the floor is sticky. I love their egg rolls but their soup could be better. They also have a table where the Chef cooks right in front of you.

Y'know know who has the best shrimp tails in Memphis? A-Tan. I didn't even have to ask for them to keep my shrimp tails on, they did it automatically. I'll give update with 5/5 stars tomorrow if I poop out all of these six shrimp tails. Cold beers and sake. Sushi was the bomb.

It was my first visit the place is beautiful and clean the staff is friendly and the food was really good to..... large portions.. will not leave hungry

It was decent. Nothing overly great and nothing bad. Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

Today was the first time that I ordered takeout from A-Tan. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted with " Hello and how are you doing today?" and from my facial expression the nice cashier lady showed empathy. I ordered my food and had a pleasent conversation with the nice cashier lady while sitting at the bar. Every person that walked behind the bar spoke and made sure all of us customers were asked if we needed anything and called returning customers by their name. The food: shrimp an 2nd entree chicken smelled, looked, and tasted great like it came off the Hibachi Grill and freshly cooked General Tao's out of the kitchen. Checkout the pictures below.

The food was excellent! Watching the cook at the hibachi table was fun and interesting. Although the waitress was great, she was not that friendly. It is definitely expensive, though!

This place is a hidden gem in Memphis! Delicious Chinese food, friendly waitstaff and atmosphere. We stopped in after work for dinner & ordered from the House Speciality list. These entree’s come with choice of soup, an egg roll, and either fried or steamed rice. I had a cup of Hot & Sour that each spoonful was chockfull of tofu, mushrooms & shoots, it was yummy. The egg roll was regular fare, delivered fresh from the oven. My Roasted Duck was absolutely scrumptious, roasted perfectly; meat was juicy and tender, the skin crispy the accompanying sauce, full of flavor added to my bowl of steamed rice. A large portion called for a take home box of leftovers. Definitely recommend

I sat at the bar its pretty small but the food was okay service aswell. Sitting at the hibachi side where they cook infront of you is more exciting and I love the food.

I really enjoy this hibachi place. I've been here MANY times, and every single time has been lovely. The service is great, and the food is very good every time. I highly recommend A-tan if you're looking for hibachi, and after dinner check out Busters liquors, they have a lot of cool stuff, like mead.
